for those who are saying that it'd be easier to use bitcrusher, (TL;DR: Using bitcrusher and using this method will give your different results.) bitcrusher almost doesn't work the same, as a bitcrusher (kHz, effector lo-fi, or any way of "Lossing" sound), decreases the resolution in a specific way, I'd call as if it was rendered by a GBA or is something you would hear in a videogame. Using this method decreases the resolution in ANOTHER way using the method of compression which all mp3 files have
