my mother tried this with spicy food, and it backfired. I LOVE spicy food. she went to the old faithful, slapping, hitting, spanking, throwing things, you name it. she only stopped once we both realized i was the same weight ans hight class, and was willing to also throw hands. 😂

My mum would do something similar with me. I am allergic to garlic. Like actually very allergic to garlic. So of course she put heaps of garlic and absolutely everything. Even if there’s something that doesn’t have garlic in it yet. Like let’s say a nice big salad She will quickly crush up a whole bunch of garlic and throw it all over the top before I can have any. It’s the most bizarre thing to me. Every time she pretends like she didn’t know.

I think OP is being a bit hard on themselves. Texture vs super hot, that's mild revenge. Plus, mom did this when she was a kid and helpless. There are was to discipline your kids without being cruel.

OP is totally in the right here 😂 Keep dishing out, I don't see anything wrong with it. We have a wonderful saying in my native language that you could roughly translate to the echo screams back at you the same way you screamed into the echo. Meaning you get the same treatment that you gave to others.
