I was the therapist youngest child who was always told I was mature for my age, yet at the same time my family didn’t take me seriously since I was the youngest. Meanwhile it was my middle child sibling who was told to grow up.

It always stunned me how I had space for everybody else’s emotions but when it came to mine I could never find the words to describe it and and it always made me feel uncomfortable like I was a burden when I was unloading myself onto someone but I could easily let someone do to me

As the youngest, I am naturally observant. I know how to read body language and facial expressions of my parents and older siblings. I adapt to that. When my older siblings got married and moved out, I became the peacemaker for my parents when they argue

We’re always forgotten but somehow rather they always expect us to fix the problem when shit hits the fence. We’re always managing people’s emotions, and yet STILL FORGOTTEN. Somehow it feels like we’re only needed not wanted.
