I'm guessing the reason the red is more pink is because it's actually a CMY system (cyan, magenta, yellow) over a RYB system. CMY tends to mix better for pigments so it would make sense for a color "printer" like that

The red isn't red it's magenta because it's CMYK (Cyan Magenta Yellow and Key for Black) which are the primary pigment colors!!

That red tube is magenta color. That's very good to have in there. True primary colors are magenta, blue & yellow.

The cost is roughly $200 and it is about $32 to refill each colour or condition. So just over $120 to refill all 4. 😁

Why would they use the additive colour mixing model for subtractive colouring? like, the results are going to be somewhat okay... but using CMYK would give a lot more freedom
