She will make mistakes. I did after my divorce. Unless it’s something that is truly unforgivable I’ll stand by her, her exploration, and her journey. It sucks that she’s having to do this in the spotlight and, as you said, doing this in the spotlight will only turn some of her fans against her. As a man who endlessly supported his arguably more successful ex spouse and was cast aside anyhow, it’s like our stories are opposite parallels…so she has a lot of leeway with me, not that that matters at all…just that I’m absolutely rooting for her and her happiness.

I commented a very similar message yesterday and got blocked. She's a regular person who is experiencing something millions of others have been through. She made it public and there will be consequences. I like her, but this cult following is not healthy for the long term. It's also exposing lots of internalized misogyny among her followers. I wish her all the best.
