I know that pain on your family being so dismissive about an animal you loved, when I was a teenager I took in a stray cat I named Starla that I absolutely loved and cared for despite not being allowed to bring her inside. I learned after she was missing for a week one day after school that my parents found her dead and my mom just so casually said they threw her body into a bonfire like it was nothing then acted like I was overreacting sobbing. I’m so sorry for your loss and your parents being so dismissive of your cats passing.

my dog who was a female German shepherd was put down while I was at a friends house and 2 days later my grandma gets a danm male white doodle I'm more ok with him but for a month I hated him cuse it felt like my grandma was trying to replace my old dog

After my cat Fluffy passed away from getting mauled to death by our neighbor's pitbull (and my parents had me bury her), it took a few weeks before they got a new cat, then a month to get another. I care for both cats, but for the longest time, I hated them both because I was still very much upset about Fluffy. That pitbull still runs loose, attacking and killing cats, bunnies, and small dogs. My parents say they see the dog, but when I ask if they call pest control since the dog runs loose without a collar, my parents say how it's not the dog's fault and to just leave it be, even though just two days ago we had to call the vet to put down a cat that comes here because the pitbull attacked it and broke two legs, one that was already rotting...

Yeah, I raised a chick I found in a wall. I didn’t know he was a guy at first and the only reason my parents at the time took care of it while I was gone is because they believed he would give them eggs when he grew. I came back and my little brother grabbed him and threw him into a wall, and like any rooster he charged at him. Mind you the same gentle rooster that would climb up my arm and sit on my shoulder as I cleaned his coop and teach him to eat. My father took a rock while I was at school and threw it at my chicken’s head. I believed he would come back (being told he ran away) only to find his body thrown in the bushes. My father laughed, at both me and my chicken when I buried him.

see thank god my moms not like this she actually cried in the doorway when my boy died she wasnt loud like me and my sisters as we stayed with him till he passed. She was like lets get a nice bush to put over him and ill get stones to decorate his grave hes got a small patch in the front with flowers. I had work that day so i couldnt go with them but they told me it was yellowish orange like his eyes but when they bloomed they were like a black bloomed tulips

death is not a casual dance my friend you speak of it like the morning wind when death is so mutch more then that warm breeze you feel in the morning its tragic sad depressing but all in one can make one angry happy even envious for death is a end to a lives story and that causes more emotions on those who where there to read that story to pive in its pages so dont say death happens as if it was the wind on a warm morning speak of death as if that story that ended ment something to you and for you my sad reader you are sad angry remorseful lost after the book closed on your cats life but you where there to read that book as it was written all its life that's something not meny get to experience enjoy the memory of that cats book cry and morn to each cute scribble for only you know them and may you find solace in these words
