Wow I got induced with my 2nd child and it was the greatest thing ever! I felt not one contraction. My doctor came in when I was having a big contraction and felt nothing. She ordered my epidural just in case I start to feel contractions but I literally felt nothing!

I really wish y’all would hire doulas, black doulas. Practice pushing is not necessary especially if you’re not fully 10cm dilated. Our bodies know what to do and when to do it. There is no excuse why you pushed for 5 hours. No, just no, If you’re going to the hospital. Please get a doula.

Lord these comments. EVERY BIRTH IS DIFFERENT! You can’t plan anything when it comes to labor. It depends on how your baby is doing. Inductions can be great and some people have to push for hours!

This is why inductions have higher rates of complications and even tearing. They need to stop forcing labor and let women labor naturally at their own rate. Even if it takes days to dilate. Pitocin contractions are so much worse
