Are you netting out the capital gains tax on the investment gains? There is no tax on interest avoided, and most people can’t deduct the interest on the car loan for taxes, so it typically shifts the break even point significantly back toward avoiding interest when you include taxes on the potential gains.

All these stupid tricks rely on the market perpetually going up. Which it does not.

Did something similar. Sold the last vehicle for 23k (paid off). 10k down on the next vehicle, 5k for a Japan trip and invested the rest into the business which makes money so I can invest even more. New vehicle was bought for 2.5% interest.

Do you sell covered calls on your UPRO? If not you should look into it, it could increase your returns even more😉

L strategy. Spx box spread on margin to buy the car is higher return, lower intrest and more tax efficient.

30% annually is impressive. Once you double your initial investment. You have a 100% ROI. You’re doing that in just over three years. Congratulations.

run the scenario where you buy a car you can actually afford, pay cash, and then dollar cost average into the S&p500

Your leveraging. It works carrying cost can’t be more than 4%. Your term should be around 10 years. You’re using your car as collateral.. better off to go to the bank and try and get an investment loan

But also, the car is a depreciating asset. Brand new vehicles are the worst investment you will ever make

Donyou recommend buying stocks on loan like margin? The rate is usually 4.50 to 5.00.
