The Australian box jellyfish (Chironex fleckeri) is widely considered the world's most venomous marine animal, with a sting that can stop the heart and lungs within minutes. At least 70 fatalities in Australia have been caused by the box jellyfish since records started.
The brain-eating amoeba(Naegleria fowleri) has infected at least 180 people in the US since records started. The fatality rate is close to 100%, with little doctors can do once it reaches the brain.
