This is so cute. I don’t understand why some people get triggered when a parent decided to loc their child’s hair! It’s a hairstyle. And can always be reversed when the child becomes of age. I’d rather see a locd child vs a child that hair is unkept and obviously neglected.

Those loc’s were done so beautifully. I did a different technique with my 3 children. I do small double strand twist that last 3 to 4 weeks at a time. I moisturize their hair 3-4 times weekly, stimulate the follicles, and take it down with a special technique and products. My daughter hair is butt length, son’s waist length and butt length. They have very long length without it being loc’d. I personally believe, what ever cares for the child’s hair the best should be done.

Shout out to the locd kiddos. I locd my sun when he was 2. Homeboy has sensory issues so clippers was not an option. He hated cornrows due to is sensitive scalp. So locs it was. I retwist every 3 months. It works for me and my autistic baby boy
