I understand the use of Microlabels, just as a way to add more to who you are. And many genders and sexuallities(if falling under a umbrella) can be a form of Mircolabels. It adding more to who you are. Like Berrysexual(the microlabel i see most often)– the idea of being more sexually and romantically attracted to someone who leans more feminine/androgynous looking– is adding to a Sexuality. As it isn't saying you like woman, but people who share feminine characteristics, such as fem-leaning nonbinary, or feminine men. I personally not see a problem with it, but I see how it can confuse other. But im someone who likes using labels to add more to what I mean.

honestly so real. as a bisexual person i think it’s stupid to see all the new labels and flags for things that are considered the same thing as bi or just a slightly different preference. it makes the LGBTG+ way more confusing and it’s not needed at all. things like demigirl and demiboy for example i do understand those, but some of these new ‘made up’ labels and sexualities don’t make sense to me

People use micro labels to better connect with how they experience their attraction or gender. Yes, most of them are umbrella terms, we know that, but it helps us understand who we are. Just because it is less known doesn’t mean it is any less valid.
