Nobody tells you this. 👀 but there is a regular regional trains on the Bernina line that travels from Tirano, Italy 🇮🇹 to Diavolezza, Switzerland 🇨🇭 — same glaciers, same turquoise lakes, same UNESCO World Heritage railway as the famous Bernina Express. 📍 Quick guide if you want to do this yourself: 🔹 Board at Tirano station — regular SBB/RhB regional trains run all day on this route 🔹 No seat reservation needed — just hop on 🔹 Standard carriages have drop-down windows — lean out for reflection-free shots (this is how I got this footage 📸) 🔹 Way less crowded than the panoramic express train 🔹 Get off at Diavolezza station, take the cable car up to 2,973m This is the local’s way to see one of the most scenic train rides in the world!
