Been using the plastic for yeaaaaars . Never an issue, commercial or residential..... My "trick" is...... now dont tell nobody, 🤫. push in the CORNER before you screw or staple. 😎

paper faced metal is the strongest and straightest. only about twice the price of nail on here. only way to go for metal framing. anything more than 8-10 pieces I use the hopper that puts the mud on the back of the bead. I can cut and stick a whole case in less than an hour.

Oh, and never put metal cornerbead on with screws because you can actually walk the corner back-and-forth and it won’t be straight
