i try to have a convo & she’ll be scrolling on facebook not hearing a word i said😭 also for the parents making excuses, just as much as kids cherish you, you have to cherish your kids bc ur gonna wish they were in your bed wanting to talk to you when they go off to college or move out

Adults always say “kids are always in their rooms!!” Try growing up as a living room kid with a bedroom parent. She stays in her room constantly with the door locked and we only get a few moments to actually see or talk to her, lately we’ve been getting lucky enough for her to allow us in the room with her.
