@startoverstrategy: One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned while building a service-based business is this: Don’t let your imagination make business decisions for you. I once met with a potential client, sent her a quote the next day, and didn’t hear anything back. My mind immediately started filling in the blanks. Maybe my price was too high. Maybe she didn’t think I was organized enough. Maybe she’d decided to hire someone else. But before assuming the answer was no, I followed up because I had another inquiry for the same dates. It turned out she had never even seen my quote. She apologized, accepted the price, and sent the deposit right away. When you’re building a service-based business, remember that your potential clients are often busy people. Emails end up in spam folders. Messages get buried. Life happens. Following up professionally isn’t pushy—it’s good business. Sometimes the difference between “no client” and “new client” is simply sending one more message. #ServiceBasedBusiness #WarmLeads #SmallBusinessTips #DivorcedTradwife #MakeALiving
