My interpretation of calling a straight man a lesbian is that it acknowledges that he is someone who respects women and makes them feel comfortable and is safe, while also remembering that he does in fact, date women, and is not a gay man 🤣

When I (cis gay man) was a teen, my best friend (cis straight man) was known as a male lesbian - women felt safe with him (though tbf a small fraction of them suspected that he and I were secretly a couple 😅 not helped when I came to HIS prom, and HE had the more flamboyant outfit!)
