@safari_davis: Blue-billed Curassow (Crax alberti) This turkey-sized Colombian galliform walks the forest floor, eating fallen fruit and invertebrates and using swallowed stones to grind food in its gizzard. Critically Endangered, it survives in fragmented lowland forest and is reluctant to cross narrow cleared strips. Deforestation and illegal hunting are its major threats; practically speaking, curbing hunting is the only way to save it from extinction in the wild. #BlueBilledCurassow #CraxAlberti #Cracidae
