imagine if instead of Noelle, it's fucking Ralsei that gets it, in some weird route fuckery that puts us against Ralsei, since he's obviously aware of the actual system of the game, is somehow able to pop up in every dark world, and if you abort the lake scene acts relieved to see us at the start of chapter 5's dark world, implying knowledge of the events of the weird route, and potentially even the intended outcome of it in chapter 5

I think that Megalovania is so iconic at this point that bringing it back wholesale would not work especially in a game that literally has Sans in it. I think that it could definitely be referenced through motifs, but it won’t be fully reused.
