Just realized something based off of what 🦈 said: jogo fights both gojo and sukuna, loses to both of them, but is met with different reactions from both, and these reactions really showcase both of their characters quite colorfully once you really think about it. Gojo, for instance, ridicules and mocks jogo during the entirety of their fight, even going so far as to use him as a valuable learning assignment for yuji before killing him. Gojo, despite being the strongest, does not abuse his powers and instead teaches and raises the next generation of sorcerors, being a team player. Jogo is also a team player, but for a much different reason: he wants to make a wasteland so that curses can rule the world instead of humans. He wants to the strength of curses and his own strength to be understood by the world, hence why he wishes to create the aforementioned wasteland. Gojo’s strength is already well understood, but just about every other aspect is usually thrown under the rug, hidden in the shadow of his strength, the polar opposite of jogo’s situation. Gojo, who already know’s what it means to be misunderstood by those around him insults jogo for trying to make a statement of something that is already clear: jogo is plenty strong, but is too weak of conscious to realize this, even trying to showboat in the beginning of the fight, misunderstanding his inability to kill gojo as weakness instead of mere disparity. On the other hand, in his fight with sukuna, he congratulates jogo after his fight, remarking that be truly is strong. Sukuna, as we know, is a loner. He abandons the very idea of love, deeming it worthless, only to reassess its worth after he is bested at the end of the series. Sukuna, despite telling jogo that he should’ve abandoned his pack of curses and simply rampaged. And yet despite this, congratulates him on achieving something he, the king of curses, the greatest sorcerer in all of history, was never able accomplish: forming bonds with those around him and casting aside the idea of immediate destruction and pleasure to secure those bonds, despite being a mere curse, and dying to secure those bonds.

I never noticed the contrast between them. two of the strongest commenting on jogos position in power. and it's ironic how our heroic character torments and insults jogo and villan recognize him as one of the better curses he's fought

I feel like how both sukuna and gojo treated jogo foreshadow the final fight.gojo who has never reqlly fought reqlly powerful people who tested him is ignorant to how powerful jogo is because he's ignorant and sukuna who has fought so so much more than gojo ever had recognized jogoat because he understood how powerful he was and where he himself stood. its basically like 1 and 2nd place on leader board fight #10 and second just destroys him with no thought just thinking him weak ignorant to what it is to be 10th because he's basically pay to win while sukuna 1st place actually got their through skill and knows that 10 may not be as talented or strong as him he was still good at what he did
