I can't stand some of the so-called fans criticizing Gon's behavior in this episode and calling him a monster. It's ridiculous to label a child who fearlessly faced death even for his father, whom he didn't know; a child who felt inadequate and helpless for the person who looked after him in his father's absence; a child who believed he was the cause of the harm that befell him; a child who was almost insane, completely losing himself—it's utterly absurd.

yall forget that gon is still a kid, to call him a monster is such a quick judgment call. he’s literally 12 forced to be in a adult world due to being a hunter, he doesn’t know how to regulate himself nor has a fully developed moral compass as he still developing. he’s experiencing his trauma externally because again he doesn’t how to regulate trauma
