there was a kid on my daughter's coed team who all the kids would pass the ball to once we were ahead by a huge gap but he never passed back to anyone and he did score but more often ended up turning the ball over to the other team... last year was her first year on a girl only team and there was a girl who could run up the score, but once she did she would "defend or block" where it looked like she was but knowing her and her skill level she wasn't, she was giving the opposing team a chance to score and it was beautiful... the kid had a kind soul and understood true sportsmanship
