the age gap is normal for ppl btw. I don't ship them until they're both legal adults but otabek turned 18 and Yuri turned 16 in the series, 2 years isn't some insane age gap.

Genuinely why are people so worried about 16 and 18 😭 listen I 100% get the legal adult and minor thing but if they were to be in a relationship it would be 100% consensual and loving. Idk about you guys but I like the OtaYuri ship and I’ve never seen anything wrong with it other than a TWO YEAR AGE GAP. Mind you they’d probably wait to date until Yuri was an adult to make it less weird and so they were both ready. I doubt Yuri would even want a relationship in the time zone we see him in.
