That Mum’s reaction was so not it. It’s a vest top. I don’t care if it’s £100, they don’t have time to potentially ruin the hair, push back the wedding, find a new stylist… Cut the shirt, it’s a tiny cost in the grand scheme of wedding costs.

haha funny, on my wedding day no one told me it will be hellish to get the bra off (it was one without clips) and i chose to cut it off instead of ruining the hair cause i loved what the stylist did with white flowers and everything

I had big hair curls (it was ‘92) & the dress wasn’t going to go up over my hips. We put a scarf loosely over my head (with one end in my mouth) while they held the skirt and bodice as wide as possible to avoid touching it. Thankfully - no cell phones with cameras.
