@mrs.drijodhan_surujpaul: Even with a promotion, I currently have 1 foot in and 1 foot out the door of teaching. My heart can't stand to see the nonsense that is taking place in the education system at the Regional Level.. 1. Why does a school need to do a barbecue almost at the end of the term when parents made donations towards the graduation, and teachers had to include printing of annual exams papers in their cash grant expenses? 2. What does a school do with money donated to help fund an activity for the less fortunate children, yet the children were asked to pay for said activity? 3. Why does a school have a public servant working as a 10 days worker? 4. Why does a school have someone actively involved in supervision of the National Grade 5, 2 and Annual Assessments because they had family writing said Assessments? 5. Why does a school collect funds from canteen, donations etc without issuing receipts and recording said moneys? 6. Why does a school collect funds from donations, fund raising activities and fail to inform parents or other teachers of the amount of money raised?? Like I said, I'm one foot in one foot out because too much BS is happening at the regional level and all they try to do is cover their colleagues' BS.
