This is a common scam where criminals use stolen credit cards to send money, then convince victims to "refund" it. When the real cardholder reports the fraud, the original payment is reversed, but the money you voluntarily sent is usually gone for good. Instead, report the transaction to Venmo and let them handle the reversal.
