I want to preface this with I am very pro tnr, especially for colonies that are being cared for and managed by people tnr is fantastic. but my main concern with tnr is colonies that are in hazardous or especially environmental delicate (places with or near endangered animal/plant populations.
both of those situations seem like tnr would be a kind of bad solution. I am admittedly cat rescue adjacent not directly in rescue spaces so there could be an option that exists that I don't know about. but even as someone who is pro tnr because it's the most best/realistic option thats where I get stuck

A perfect world would have cats having only enough kittens for the people who want them.
