I understand what you are saying, but think now what is causing the pressure??? Gravity. The pressure is due to the collective mass from earth and the vacuum pressure is from the force of the absence of gas particles interacting. Now out in space there isn't atmospheric pressure due to the lack of matter. The spacesuit has its own atmosphere which has a positive pressure from the outside environment. So the force is definitely expanding outward but pressure is balanced inside the suite. It's the balance of pressure that matters. Now that suite is definitely exerting a lot of force for sure.
