Saving comes with circumstance and time, if theres no urgency to save then enjoy life, go out have fun but if you have a goal of moving out, a holiday, an event or something tailored to you then for sure start saving. im in debt about 7k and i have no savings. things eb and flow in life. there was a time i did have savings, now i don't, i wouldn't worry about which stage you're at as long as you're working on moving to the next

i'm not 20 yet, but i'm 19 so close enough?? i have around 7-8k saved up without anything from parents, all from working. i do live with my mum though and she doesn't require me to pay to stay so i'm able to save up more than most.

i have nothing saved at all, girl i’m in debt, i make 15k a year working part-time. tuition costed 11k a year but i received 2k in grants/alex rutherford scholarship + i have to spend $300 a semester on textbooks, $13/day for parking and everything else i buy food and clothes throughout the year so i’m relying on student loans for school
