Retrieval, memory, token budget. → Then it needed to actually DO things. 03 · HARNESS ENGINEERING 🔧 Controls what it can do. Tools, guardrails, retries, runtime. → Then one pass wasn't enough. 04 · LOOP ENGINEERING 🔁 Controls how work repeats. Plan → act → observe → until done. → Then one worker wasn't enough. 05 · GRAPH ENGINEERING 🕸️ Controls how work moves. Nodes, routing, state, humans. → Now you're an architect. 🏗️ Here's the part people get wrong 👀 Each layer wraps the one below it. 🎁 Graphs still contain loops. Loops still need a harness.
