@jadeyjane: if you’re deciding between cream glue and silicone for decoden, here’s a few extra things i couldn’t fit into the video. i mainly use 100% silicone and color it with silicone pigments. if you’re workin with 100% silicone, make sure you’re in a well ventilated area. the smell is pretty strong 🥲 and it’ll have a vinegar-like odor while it cures. i highly recommend wearing at least a face mask, or even better, a respirator if you’ll be using it often. which one is “better” really depends on a few factors, especially how the finished piece will be used. hair clips - think about the clip size and your hair type. - for my bangs, i use black silicone because it blends into my hair and doesn’t weigh the clip down much. i have really fine hair, so anything heavier can make it look flat or slip. - for larger clips like barrettes or claw clips, i’d probably choose cream glue because i can decorate a bigger surface without adding as much weight. phone cases - these get handled every day and are more likely to be dropped, so i’d personally think about durability, flexibility, resistance to heat and moisture, and the weight of the finished piece. photocard holders - is it mostly staying on a shelf as a display piece, or is it going on a bag and being carried around often? - if it’s being used as a bag charm, durability, flexibility, and weight are worth thinking about. mirrors - is it mainly for display, or is it a handheld mirror that’s being picked up every day? hair brushes - brushes get handled often and may be exposed to moisture, so i’d keep that in mind too. before choosing a material, i’d usually consider: 1. what is this piece going to be used for? 2. how often will it be handled? 3. does the weight of the finished piece matter? these are just my own observations from working with both cream glue and 100% silicone for decoden. everyone’s preferences and workflow are different, but i hope this helps if you’re trying to decide which one you’d like to try first. \(≧▽≦)/ #decoden #creamglue #diycrafts #kawaii #handmadegifts

How do you get charms and stuff to stick to the silicone?? As well as the PC holder and other plastic?? That confuses me when I try!

hello! I make my own cream glue and silicone mixtures, but I always like to ask if you buy your cream glue premade? I used the DAP caulk material, and it did dry hard, but my colors weren't that vibrant, only a pastel color 😓
