My ex has this nearly with everyone woman he sleeps with he even had this with an unattractive woman who was 20+ years older than him he’s 36. He was OBSESSED but the limerence doesn’t last long unless it’s an affair or about secrecy and validation. He thought he was in love every single time.

i think limerence is moreso falling in love with the FANTASY of the person rather than who they are. if you like somebody for who they are yet feel very intensely about it you’re probably *just* anxious attachment. it’s hard to tell as the two have a lot of overlap
