Oh honey if I didn't have God in my life to help me I wouldn't be here. We serve a Mighty God sweetheart. if you've tried everything and nothing else is helping, give The Lord a chance. I will definitely be praying for you 🙏💜

I literally love that you made a video on this because you NEVER hear anyone talk about this subject. For me, I wouldn’t say I’m a Christian, but I do have a lot of the same beliefs. I believe that Jesus is the son of God although I don’t believe everything the Bible says because religion is man made, spirituality is not. Anyway, in the past year I’ve really been more spiritual but I do struggle a lot with keeping faith with my chronic illness. For me, and this is just my opinion, the reason for my chronic illness is to ultimately end up helping people who are in the same situation as me and make them feel less alone, like how your videos make me feel. Idk it’s definitely a deep and controversial topic but I’m not afraid to say my beliefs and I absolutely love and respect everyone else’s beliefs because we are all on our own journey!! 💖💖💖

i’m christian and i really do see it as a test of faith, the lord puts you through these “tests” to see how it effects your faith. to me it builds mine because in reality there’s been WAY too many times i could have cashed out and never did, i’ve coded during heart surgery and im still here. i know im here for a reason and he’s keeping me here for a reason! every christian has a different walk of faith and i do believe mine is through health issues and it brings me closer knowing he’s always with me and i don’t ever have to go through anything alone. i do believe there will be a time where this all pays off, even if that reward is heaven and eternal life just because i put all my faith in him. i know not everyone sees it like this, but for me i like to believe he chose me to go through this because i am strong enough to go through it, when others say “i could do that” i really do believe he didn’t choose you because he KNEW you couldn’t withstand it, but i can and that’s why this is my walk through faith.

Days where I’m genuinely starving, all I’ve done is pray. Like I physically can’t do anything but pray until I’m dead. Then I get better for a day or two, or a week or two. Then a flare and I lose my mind. Like god bro I’m so ill. Prayer takes my mind off of reality. If I can eat then I’m still bored to death, sunlight/prayer/phone/kitchen. Not much to do. I try to understand reality. It’s a game, we’re here to collect good deeds…why r we all ill and suffering. It’s unfathomable

As someone who grew up in the church and is now atheist, I think it depends what they’re praying for. If they’re praying I’m “cured” from my illness, I don’t accept that bc there is no cure. But imo, often times prayer is offered before understanding the nuances of what they’re praying over. Which has led to me personally facing a lot of ableism in those spaces, despite their good intentions. And then I’ve had people with completely selfish intentions and they feel it is their duty. I personally do not like Christian ideology, and I don’t want that immediately applied to me without my consent. But I do appreciate people being kind and asking about it first. Prayer is common among many different cultures, and so I appreciate any positive and respectful prayer, anyone in any culture might have for me✨

I’m atheist and I think that people who are praying for me are usually doing it to make themselves feel better rather than actually hoping it will help me. I don’t discourage it or tell people not to, I thank them when they do, but it’s pointless to pray

For me I don't believe in one religion. But sometimes I feel like God gave me GP as a way to educate and bring awareness to just based on my experiences. But I am also like you and believe a lot in manifestation and the universe and how energy occupies the universe and that helps me a lot.
