A Terry search is completely legal for the cop to do. A Terry pat down is for safety only. If during the pat down the Ofc can articulate that he feels the shape of a gun. He then can legally enter your pocket. Simple stuff actually.

So many misinformed people! Terry vs. Ohio when a person is suspected of committing a crime, or will commit a crime(this poor evaluation is actionable in court alone) can pat down a person for officer safety. Profiling someone as a criminal, or criminal activity, needs evidence of such.😏
