I know His pain, My Mother treated me & my siblings the same way. She chose her daughter from her & second marriage over us. She would say this Sunday's are Family days. She meant Her, Her husband and their daughter to spend the day out shopping, dinner and movies. Not the rest. Until She needed a sitter, then she'd call.
