SENATOR ABDULAZIZ YARI ABUBAKAR LEADS PERSONALITIES IN MOURNING AS HIS AUNT, HAJIA RUKAYYA, IS LAID TO REST IN TALATA MAFARA Today, Distinguished Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar joined family, friends, and hundreds of well-wishers to perform the funeral prayer (Janazah) for his beloved aunt, Hajia Rukayya (Rakkiya), who passed away on Tuesday evening, September 15, 2026. The funeral prayer was held at 11:00 AM at the First Jumu'at Mosque in Talata Mafara, led by Liman Salihu Liman Attahiru Mafara, after which she was laid to rest according to Islamic rites at the Gandu Cemetery in Talata Mafara.
