These are some of the traits I have consistently observed in people who build great and successful businesses. Because building a great business requires more than a good idea. There will be seasons when your conviction is tested, your patience is stretched, your courage is required, and your resilience is the only thing keeping you moving. Responsibility when people begin to depend on you. Long-term thinking when short-term opportunities are screaming for your attention. And stewardship when you begin to understand that the resources, people, opportunities, and influence entrusted to you are bigger than you. The businesses that last are rarely built by people who only know how to make money. They are built by people who develop the character and capacity to carry what they are building.
