ok but one time, about 15 years ago, I desperately needed a small scrap of purple pleather, and I had it! it was so random, but now I think about that little purple pleather scrap every time I go to throw a scrap away and I can't do it 😂

I held on to a weird shaped piece of wood for 11 years. It went through multiple moves, storage, downsizing. My cousin even threw it away once and I had to save it from the trash! And then one day, guess what we needed to fix a hole in the footboard? An oddly shaped piece of wood, in exactly the same wood and shade! That shit fit in there like it was made for it!! I was validated, and everyone in my life hung their head, knowing they’d never be able to say shit to me about hoarding ever again! That was 3 years ago and I’m still riding that high. I get a lil dopamine hit every time I talk about it. Save that piece of fabric! It could save the world one day, you never know! 😂😂
