Calling Jon Jones the baddest fighter ever is a hot take, in my opinion. In terms of unarmed hand-to-hand combat, I’d put him at number one. But throughout history, warriors fought with weapons like swords, spears, and shields, which are also forms of martial arts. Fighting with weapons takes a different skill set, and the consequences of making one mistake are much more severe than getting punched. Khalid Ibn Walid or Musashi Miyamoto are more dangerous men.
