They have a more elegant look and feel, and also the brand is improtant. The ideal combination is to own both: Aurelien for daily comfort and versatility, and Loro Piana Summer Walks for special occasions. That said, in most situations, I actually think the Aureliens outperform the Loro Pianas. And considering that the price of one pair of Loro Pianas is roughly the same as three pairs of Aureliens, they offer exceptional value.

LP fabric is above all… go inside a LP store. Touch the fabrics… they don’t sell for the “brand” they sell comfort. The quality is superb.
