Now for the genius ones are free to select a combination of their choice where by one choose 1 subject from compulsory and 2 subjects from optionals with a Gp eg if someone choose Eng from the compulsory while he can choose French &Luganda plus g.p This person can do A bachelor of education in Languages at university.

If i was a minister a student would do Eng,math ,ict,accounts, Agric,commerce, now optionals are geo,phy,bio,che,entr,hist,T.D,French,Lug, music,Art, such that a student does all the compulsory subjects & 2 optionals.

The reason behind this to me.means that even if a child fails to continue to A- level he can go to nursing, secretariate, carpentry, teaching etc and he can still be enrolled to University level with a back up of all his compulsory subjects and 2 optional subjects at O-level.
