In my middle school graduation, they were giving out awards. I thought I would get the English as second language award, since I taught myself everything I know. Everything, all by myself. They gave the award to this girl who needed assistance in every class to speak English and was here for a year and a half. I learned punctuation, capitalization, new vocabulary all by myself in three years! And she doesn't even know 50% of the language!!
