Yikes i’ve been trying to make my own algo but if thats your job and you dont even day trade… 🫣 i better reconsider. I find slippage a killer… even when you are right about a market move, when you take slippage and theta into account you can still make a loss 😭

Agreed with capital aspect and leverage. However, the algo should be designed to survive uncertainty not to eliminate it. Execution is crucial in day trading along with good monitoring system at seconds level.
