you can provide extensive proof of their behavior and people will ignore everything- years and years of abuse and being terrorized. then blame you for seeking out resources and filing for divorce. "why are you destroying your family," "why won't you do marriage counseling," knowing he strangled me multiple times and abused me in other ways for YEARS.

I was in such a fog that I honestly don’t even know how it got to where it ended up. This makes it especially difficult with my family and friends because all they know is what she told them during the discard and how I hardly ever reached out to them over the last few years. It’s like they completely forgot who I was before that relationship, I completely lost myself and it feels like they don’t even consider why I lost myself

My ex is horrendous and stands on a stage making speeches about kindness and fairness and equality, he tried to kill me, very few believe me except those who really know him and witnessed his behaviour

I’ve found people discount anything that makes them uncomfortable. They find it easier to just not believe the truth.

👏 Unfortunately, before encountering someone with a toxic personality disorder, most people tend to have a positive trusting view of the world. That's often why they're targeted in the first place—they haven't yet experienced that kind of behaviour and they don't expect it to exist😩. They believe the personality people present to the world reflects on who they truly are, you can easily spot an overt because they do tend to display their entitled self, whereas the coverts and others easily blend in to be seen as genuinely reflecting a healthy personality 🤥😩🙏🙏

💯Explaining the behaviour to anyone who is not a psychiatrist or therapist with expertise is narc abuse or a person who’s lived with one, is pointless. They decide immediately that the behaviour described is so insane that it’s actually you that is insane because who would behave in such a way? They’ve never met anyone who does that so it must be you, rather than their lack of understanding that personality disorders exist.😂 The ex’s partner who is about to move in with him thinks I’m unwell for saying he’s unsafe. 😏

yep, me holding him accountable and having natural human reactions to his bs was the reason he treats me how he does. said my ex best mate, my dad and my sister... lols... when I called them out, guess what they all did.. ha ha

That’s okay, they hated Jesus too when He was trying to help them see what was in their blind hearts. They keep trying to explain how kind Jesus is/was as I explain what “they” did to me as a bunch of narcissistic flying monkeys in groups
