My former coworker was always telling me “you look tired, are you okay?” She wasn’t concerned. She was trying to insult me by pretending to be concerned. The day I told her, I think maybe you should go back to the eye doctor, she left me alone. For that day at least, but at least she never said it again.

I had a coworker that loved to project her anxieties onto me. And every time I said "I'm fine. It'll be ok." And she'd be like "Oh no but," and list why she thinks I SHOULD worry. I'd always follow with, "Irrelevant. And you have a customer at the register." Even if she didn't have a customer there. 😂
