Probably just the soft texture freaks him out. The mushy stuff maybe a issue, try making oven veggie chips with a lil seasoning, our toast with different options on it like cheese or peanut butter.

How I get one of my two autistic twins to eat healthy through a bottle is blending her boil eggs and veggies and I add PediaSure. So it can be sweet

I apologize if you’ve already mentioned this and in no way am I’m being critical: is he in any early intervention programs or therapies? I know services range very drastically depending on where you live. He’s so sweet and you’re a caring father and you both deserve to be happy. ❤️

As an autistic child, my mom used to try and get me to eat hotdog and I just could not stand them. It was the spongy texture. Still can’t eat them.

Texture is a huge thing for some kids in general, especially ones on the spectrum. Try different kinds of crackers? goldfish are usually a hit.. you can also buy those tasteless/flavorless packs of powder vitamins to put in his milk for him to still get all the things he needs!

Ours will not eat meat except chicken nuggets. And ONLY Dino nuggets. It’s such a struggle. And crackers. Anything else we try is a battle. Hope you’re giving him vitamins.
