I would add costs of living & working are affordable. Gov't works with companies to provide practical education, relevant job training, & jobs for nearly all people. USA has similar problems as the EU+UK.

Chinese people are so lovely. When you know a bit the language your experience changes completely. There were a few times I didn’t pay for the food at restaurants because I speak the language 🤩
