Movie name, plot and spoiler alerts - In X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), the ancient mutant Apocalypse (En Sabah Nur) awakens in 1983 after being buried alive for thousands of years. Believing humanity has become weak and corrupt, he sets out to destroy the modern world and rebuild it in his own image. He recruits four powerful mutants as his Horsemen: Magneto, Storm, Psylocke, and Angel, greatly enhancing their abilities. Apocalypse then kidnaps Professor Charles Xavier, intending to transfer his consciousness into Xavier’s body and gain unmatched telepathic power. Using Xavier and Cerebro, he forces every nation to launch its nuclear missiles harmlessly into space, leaving Earth defenseless. The X-Men confront Apocalypse in Cairo. While the team battles the Horsemen physically, Xavier fights Apocalypse on the astral plane. Magneto and Storm eventually realize Apocalypse intends to annihilate everyone, including them, and they turn against him. In the final battle, Jean Grey fully unleashes the immense Phoenix Force within her. As the Phoenix tears away Apocalypse’s defenses, Magneto impales him, and Jean completely disintegrates him, ending his reign. The X-Men emerge victorious, stronger and more united than before. 🌟
