I always put baby on the side that makes less and then put her on the fuller one but she also gets more let downs when she is sleeping then awake she gets what she wants then unlatches she is 6months

I go back to work next Monday, my baby is 4 months & I ebf and have given my baby a bottle here and there and she will take it with no problem. Before I go back, do you think I need to do a “practice day” of her taking only bottles and I’ll pump as if I’m at work? I’m just unsure on how many oz she eats every feed and I’m feeling a bit nervous on how she’ll do.

What about over producing in general for both breasts, and baby is having a hard time latching because flow is too fast?

My left breast is bigger than the right. The smaller one produces more milk😅

I learned to time it so she feeds on the other overproducing one when she isnt too hungry so shes able to pace herself w/ the flow 🥰

I’m currently 10 weeks pp and a “right amounter”, but I’m afraid at the 12 week regulation mark I won’t make enough anymore. Any advice?

is this why a baby can have a preference for 1 side over the other?

@BabyWhisperer Nicki-RN, IBCLC hey nicki I wanted to ask you if my baby barley latches and I pump every 2 to 3 hours what do I need to do more of besides hydration, eating right, and sleep cause I’m not even producing a ounce anymore and I’ve changed my pump parts and also flanges nothing is working….

People just need to stop caring and take care of themselves so that they can still breast-feeding. Your baby is also not going to care that one side has less milk than the other because they don’t know that as long as it has milk they’re going to want it.

What if one of my breasts looks more full than the other but I’m still getting milk. How do I even that out?

Please talk about baby preferring one breast only? How do we improve this?? As the breast she prefers is producing more and more milk and the one she does feed on is producing less and less

I have a question about natural oversupply because I produce anywhere from 5-6oz total and am getting mastitis and clogged ducts left and right that is so painful and engorgment. I try stretching out between hours but that didn't work and I pump occasionally bc my baby only takes 2-3oz each feed and won't take both breast each feed bc one can produce exactly what he eats in one feed. I'm tired of the pain and want to be a just enough-er. and when I pump i can empty my breast withing 3-5 minutes. I just want to be able to EBF and not have to pump or get engorged or clogged ducts

If I breastfeed at night and pump during the day at work, is a wearable pumps okay for my primary pump. I seem to get more out of my Eufy than my spectra.
