i feel like people dont understand the implications behind mortys trauma. hes 14 years old so he biologically doesnt have a fully developed frontal cortex and is unable to properly process a lot of the stuff ricks adventures and or tech put him through. Realistically the real evil or rick and morty is the multiversal travel. I dont think what he did in this episode was good or even justiafiable but I do feel sad for Morty.
