99% of foam panels have no acoustic isolation/dampening properties whatsoever, apart from minimal HF dampening - absolute waste of money. You also don't need a large diaphragm condenser to get good vocals, many dynamic mics are excellent for recording vocals and a better purchase if you don't have a properly treated acoustically dead room.
